Default Install Directory: C:\GAMES\Freespace\

To Install Game:
Windows95 Installation -

1. Insert the CD into your CD-Rom drive.
2. The auto-run screen should appear within a few seconds.
   • If the auto-run screen appears:
     1. Simply follow on-screen installation instructions.
   • If the auto-run screen DOES NOT appear:
     1. Double click on the MY COMPUTER icon on your desktop.
     2. Double click on your CD-ROM drive icon.
     3. Double click on the SETUP.exe file.

Game Executable: In the directory where the game is installed, the icon with the words "FS.exe" below it.

To Start Game:
In Windows 95 -

1. Insert the Freespace cd into your CD-ROM drive.
2. The autorun screen should appear in a few seconds.
3. Click on the PLAY Freespace option.
4. From within Freespaces "Ready Room" select Campaigns
5. Within the Campaigns screen you will want to select Silent Threat
6. From within Freespaces "Ready Room" select Start

1. Insert the cd into your CD-ROM drive.
2. Click on Start
3. Choose Programs
4. Choose Games
5. Choose Descent Freespace
6. From within Freespaces "Ready Room" select Campaigns
7. Within the Campaigns screen you will want to select Silent Threat
8. From within Freespaces "Ready Room" select Start

To Quit:

1. You can exit by hitting ESC and then choosing Exit Game.

Problem: I have installed "Silent Threat" but the same old Freespace keeps coming up. How do I play the Silent Threat campaigns?

Solution: The game cannot be started from the launcher as the reference card refers to. Silent Threat can be found within the "Campaigns" menu within the original Descent Freespace game. You will need to start the original game and then within the Campaigns section you can select Silent Threat as your current campaign.
